The Wyndmoor Group is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to support our facility in Merrillville, IN. You will be responsible for sorting linens, labeling garments, and delivering laundry items to residents, while operating commercial laundry equipment according to sanitization protocols.

The role requires attention to cleanliness, reliability, and adherence to dress code. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand or walk for extended periods, with dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Sort linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material.
• Label residents' garments.
• Deliver and pickup laundry items to residents.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment following sanitization protocols.
• Clean and maintain laundry room area and equipment.
• Unload laundry from commercial dryers.

Resposibilities:

• Sorting linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material
• Labeling all residents clothing and garments
• Delivering and pickup laundry items to residents.
• Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols.
• Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment.
• Unloading laundry from commercial dryers.

Requirements:

• Willing to adhere to Towne Centre principles in providing service to our facility.
• Displays cleanliness, good grooming, personal appreance, and follow dresscode requirements consistently.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stands long periods of time, and also walking long periods of time.
• Maintains acceptable attendace record/ follows work schedule at all times.
