Living Branches in Lansdale is seeking a friendly Laundry Attendant to clean, sort, pre-treat, iron, and deliver resident linens with care. You’ll support housekeeping as needed, maintain a hygienic environment, and bring a service-minded attitude to residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Examine articles to be cleaned and sort into lots by color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique
• Pre-treat spots and stains before washing or dry-cleaning
• Iron and perform basic mending as needed
• Fold and deliver laundry to residents or designated areas
• Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed
• Maintain a service-oriented, friendly, and attentive demeanor

While it may seem simple, we assure it it's no small task. Our laundry attendants not only provide the joy and comfort of freshness, but they ensure the linens within Living Branches are sanitized and cleaned so we maintain a healthy and safe living environment.

Laundry Attendant Overview:

• Examines articles to be cleaned and sorts into lots according to color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique required
• Pre-treats spots and stains before loading articles into washers or dry-cleaning machines
• Irons and performs basic mending of clothing as required
• Responsible for folding and delivering laundry
• Periodically assists with housekeeping assignments and duties as needed
• Service-oriented attitude is necessary; must be consistently friendly and attentive
• Ability to understand directions and follow through with assignments
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, has ability to prioritize work within given deadlines and to address emergencies as they may occur
