Job summary

Crowne Plaza Knoxville Downtown University is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to help keep guest linens fresh and spotless. You’ll sort, wash, dry, and organize hotel laundry and assist housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking, and dependable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving laundry throughout the shift.
• Previous hotel or laundry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing a clean and comfortable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, and overall quality.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area.
• Keep an accurate supply of clean linens available for housekeeping and other hotel departments.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for cleanliness and quality.
• Assist the housekeeping team with additional duties as needed.
