Job summary

Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown, ND, is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to ensure a consistent supply of sanitized linens and personal clothing for residents and staff. You will manage the complete laundry cycle, from gathering and laundering to sorting, folding, and returning items with care, while following infection control practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• North Dakota Driver's License.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Prior experience in a laundry setting.
• Ability to manage laundry equipment, including safety practices.
• Familiarity with handling chemicals.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete laundry cycle for facility linens and personal clothing.

JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to support the Anne Carlsen Center's operational excellence by ensuring a consistent, high-quality supply of sanitized linens and personal clothing items. This role is essential for maintaining a comfortable, hygienic, and safe environment for all residents and staff by strictly adhering to infection control and universal precaution practices. Key responsibilities include managing the complete laundry cycle for both facility linens and personal clothing - gathering, laundering, sorting, folding, organizing, and returning items with care and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS: (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years' experience required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• North Dakota Driver's License
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Prior experience in a laundry setting
• Ability to manage laundry equipment, including safety practices
• Familiarity with handling chemicals
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
