**Purpose**
Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service by offering a clean, safe, and friendly store environment.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Customer Service and Satisfaction: Assists customers with payment systems, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash/dry/fold orders; handles customer questions/concerns and reports to management as needed. Maintains a neat appearance and wears the uniform.
- Store Safety and Security: Maintains a safe environment inside and outside the store by following security procedures, prioritizing safety.
- Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Ensures cleanliness inside and outside the store, following routines and documenting completion.
- Building and Equipment Maintenance: Reports maintenance issues and escalates unsafe situations to management.
- Retail: Maintains visual presentation of products, understands and educates customers, and processes sales accurately while encouraging additional purchases.
- Wash/Dry/Fold: Provides quality service by selecting appropriate equipment, completing orders carefully, and addressing customer concerns promptly. Reports claims to management.
- Policies and Procedures: Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Knowledge/Experience**
- Knowledge of laundry products and payment systems is a plus but not required.
**Skills and Abilities**
- Effective communication and ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
- Multitasking ability.
- Builds strong customer relationships quickly.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
**Education**
- High School Diploma or GED.
**Physical Requirements**
- Standing for long periods, manual dexterity, stooping, bending, lifting.
