Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort is seeking a Laundry Associate to ensure cleanliness and proper processing of linens, directly impacting guest experiences. You will operate washing and drying equipment, sort and load textiles, and maintain a clean, organized laundry area.

Responsibilities

• Operate all washing and drying machines.
• Sort, load, and unload washing/drying machines.
• Perform daily cleaning duties in the laundry room and keep area organized.
• Weight all loads for proper loading and efficiency of washers/dryers.
• Handle dirty and clean linens and store requisitions with proper chemicals.
• Keep track of towels, linen, sheets, and pillowcases; follow emergency procedures.

Job description

Laundry is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, and the proper process of linens. Maintaining a clean and organized facility. This position has a direct impact on the guest experience while staying at Riverside Casino and Resort.

Essential Functions

• Ability to operate all washing and drying machines.
• Ability to sort , load, and unload washing /drying machines.
• Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Ability to store requisition and utilize the proper chemicals for the washers.
• Ability to operate automated ironer/folder.
• Ability to fold linen and stack for storage.
• Follow directions thoroughly.
• Understand guest service needs.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Must be punctual.
• Handle dirty and clean linens.
• Ability to weigh all loads for proper loading of washers and dryers.
• At the end of the day empty trash in dumpster/ restock transport cart for next day.
• Answer questions regarding local area facilities and points of interest.
• Ability to properly dry different materials such as towels, fine linen, sheets, pillow cases.
• Ability to perform daily cleaning duties in the laundry room.
• Know and follow the hotel emergency procedures.
• Ability to work under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.

Schedule
