Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts seeks a Laundry Attendant at Hilton Indianapolis 226 to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens with efficiency and care in a busy hotel setting.

Responsibilities include loading washers, managing detergents, operating laundry cycles, folding, ironing linens, and maintaining equipment while ensuring a welcoming guest experience. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on cleanliness and reliability.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and add detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents.
• Turn valve to fill washer with water.
• Start machine that automatically washes and rinses articles.
• Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place into wringers and driers for time cycles.
• Sort dried articles by identification number or type.
• Fold and place items in the appropriate storage bin.
• Iron all table linens.
• Lubricate machines with grease gun and oil.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

• Lift clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into wringers and driers for measured time cycles.
• Sort dried articles according to identification number or type.
• Fold and place item in appropriate storage bin.
• Iron all table linens.
• Lubricate machines, using grease gun and oil can.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Other duties as assigned by the leader

Education and Experience

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

This is an hourly position of $16 an hour
