Job summary

Baymont by Wyndham of Elko NV is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support the hotel’s housekeeping operations. You will handle washing, drying, folding linens and restocking supplies.

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with a friendly team in Elko. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the quality of washed, dried and folded room and table linen by following prescribed methods and procedures for sorting, washing, drying, folding and storing operations.
• Informs the Executive Housekeeper of any deviations from the prescribed methods and procedures regarding the receipt of soiled linen from the Rooms or Food Departments.
• Maintains the proper supply of cleaning materials.
• Cleans the dryer filters and washer drain filters.
• Keeps the laundry area clean and orderly at all times.
• Stores and stocks room linen as instructed.
• Reports any laundry equipment malfunctions promptly to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintains a clean, pleasant and neat image.
• Performs other duties as requested by the General Manager.

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning assigned areas. Provides Room Attendants with supplies, picks up soiled linen and trash, moves or adds furniture as requested.
