Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton Concord is hiring a full‑time Laundry Attendant to ensure high levels of guest service by cleaning and maintaining all hotel linens, towels, and fabrics in accordance with brand standards.

You will thoroughly sort, wash, dry, and fold items, monitor inventory, keep the laundry room clean and organized, operate and maintain equipment safely, and support other departments as needed, including occasional cross-training and shift flexibility to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience helps but is not required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and safety rules.
• Mathematical ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

The DoubleTree is hiring for a full‑time Laundry Attendant! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction by cleaning and maintaining all hotel linens.

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction by cleaning and maintaining all hotel linens.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality services and meet guests' needs
• Thoroughly sort, wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens in a prescribed manner
• Maintain linen quality based on hotel standards
• Clean and maintain laundry room
• Ensure all laundry room equipment is cleaned and well maintained
• Assist in monthly inventory
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of people

Additional Duties

• Monitor inventory and proper use of all chemicals and supplies
• Rotate linens to minimize wear
• Pretreat stained linens before washing, as needed
• Assist other coworkers/departments when necessary
• Attend monthly department meetings
• Actively seek out other tasks when current work is completed
• Ensure laundry room is cleaned and shelves are organized and stocked safely
• Participate in ongoing education and training
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Education or Experience: No prior experience or education is required.

• Mathematical Skills: Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Reasoning Ability: Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to: apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Non‑slip shoes are recommended
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug test and background check
• Requires walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing, balancing, lifting, crouching, kneeling, stooping, handling, smelling and seeing
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
