Job summary

CareCore at Margaret Hall is seeking a dependable Laundry / Housekeeping Aide to join our team. This full-time evening shift provides an opportunity to ensure residents have clean clothes, linens, and a comfortable environment.

You will wash, dry, fold, sort laundry, assist with light housekeeping, and follow infection control guidelines while working with a supportive team to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks during shift.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing a clean and safe environment for residents.

Hours

6pm-12am Full Time

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Sort and handle laundry according to proper infection control procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas.
• Ensure clean linens and supplies are available throughout the facility.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow all facility safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and laundry team.
