Job summary

Bathhouse is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to operate commercial washers/dryers, sort and fold linens, and ensure inventory and quality standards are met in a high-volume environment. The role emphasizes attention to sanitation, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

You will contribute to seamless guest experiences by maintaining clean, well-stocked laundry areas and supporting multiple departments with timely linen handling and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial laundry or housekeeping environment is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to ~30 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with proactive communication.
• Ability to work independently and with the team, flexible to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Sort and pair slides by size.
• Pre-treat stains and follow washing instructions for each item.
• Fold, organize, and stock linens and towels for massage and locker areas.
• Maintain par levels so departments have what they need.
• Track damaged or stained items and remove from circulation.
• Handle laundry chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Monitor machines and report maintenance issues.
• Assist with inventory counts and linen rotation.
• Follow cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Uphold Bathhouse brand standards for presentation and quality.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bathhouse is seeking an attentive, organized, and hands‑on Laundry Attendant to join our team. This role is primarily based in our laundry room, operating commercial machines to wash, dry, and fold linens for massage rooms, as well as towels and slides. With a high volume of guests each day, the laundry room plays a critical role in supporting our operations and maintaining the standards our guests expect.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Sort and pair slides by size.
• Pre‑treat stains and follow proper washing instructions for each item.
• Fold, organize, and stock clean linens and towels for massage rooms and locker room areas.
• Maintain par levels so each department always has what they need.
• Track damaged or stained items and pull them from circulation.
• Handle laundry chemicals according to safety guidelines and training.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Monitor machines and report maintenance issues or malfunctions.
• Assist with inventory counts and linen rotation.
• Follow cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Uphold Bathhouse brand standards for presentation and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a commercial laundry or housekeeping environment preferred — comfortable using industrial washers/dryers, understanding fabric care, and keeping pace in a high‑volume setting.
• Comfort working on your feet and performing physical tasks — ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, and safely lift or carry items up to approximately 30 lbs throughout a shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional — shows up on time, follows schedules, communicates proactively, and takes pride in their work.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with the team — stays focused and productive with minimal supervision, while also supporting coworkers and responding to changing needs.
• Clear communication skills and proficiency in English — able to read instructions, follow safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Hourly rate: $17 - $19/hour
