Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage linens across the property, ensuring items are clean, sorted, folded and stocked for rooms, service teams and food/beverage staff. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork and a strong focus on smooth operations.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues while following safety policies to handle a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, fold, and stock linens.
• Support other departments such as Room Attendants, Guest Service Agents and F&B staff.

• Keep washers and dryers running to maintain supply.

Job description

Laundry Attendants are responsible for the linens throughout the property. Their job is to ensure that everything from sorting to folding is completed and properly stocked for Room Attendants, Guest Service Agents, and Food and Beverage staff in order for their jobs to run smoothly. Laundry Attendants are responsible for maintaining the linens and alerting management whenever there is a need for replacement linens.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

• Frequent standing and crouching
• Lifting up to30pounds
• Repetitive movements of shoulders and arms
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments
• Complying with all safety and security policies
• Ability to handle stressful situation in a calm, professional manner
• Keeping a fast pace to make sure washers and dryers are constantly full and/or running
• Keeping yourself on track to get things done
