Job summary

Endeavor Hotels is seeking a Laundry Attendant to operate washers, dryers, and related equipment to clean hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and fabrics. You will sort by type, color, and fabric care, and ensure chemicals and machines function correctly while maintaining linen inventory.

The role requires reading and interpreting safety rules, strong English literacy, and open availability across shifts (AM/Mid/PM/overnight), including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Open availability for AM/Mid/PM/overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabrics.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry by type, color, and fabric care requirements.
• Ensure chemicals and equipment are working properly.
• Inspect linens for tears and stains and pretreat as needed, reclaiming or removing them from inventory.
• Maintain linen inventory and report repairs to Engineering.
• Fold linens per hotel standards and manage banquet linens.
• Assist housekeeping by delivering linens and supporting special cleaning projects.

Job description

Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabrics.Sort, load, and unload laundry by type, color, and fabric care requirements.Ensures that all chemicals and equipment are working properly.Treat stains and follow proper laundering procedures for delicate or special-care items.Inspect linens for tears and stains and pretreats for reclaiming or removes them from inventory. Maintains inventory of linens.Reports all needed repairs to the Engineering Department.Folds all linen in accordance with hotel standards. Maintains all banquet linens.Must wear the required uniforms. Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.Assist with housekeeping needs as requested, including delivering linens or helping with special cleaning projects.Track linen usage and help maintain accurate inventory levels.Assist in receiving, counting, and storing laundry supplies and chemicals.Performs other duties assigned by management.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily.
