Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant for the Westin Austin Downtown to ensure guests receive clean, fresh linens and a welcoming experience. You’ll operate laundry equipment, follow procedures, and help maintain an efficient, orderly laundry area while upholding high hospitality standards.

This on-site role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. The position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities within our hotel network.

Qualifications

• Experience ensuring guests receive high-quality service.
• Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
• Certification sign-off after completing training.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with the highest service quality and anticipate guest needs.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment per procedures.
• Load/unload washers and dryers without overloading.
• Fold linen using folding machine and ironer when needed.
• Stock, clean and maintain laundry carts, storage areas, and racks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• The laundry attendant will always provide the highest quality of service to the guest and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain and operate all laundry equipment in accordance with established procedures, like the laundry room checklist.
• Properly load and unload washers and dryers being careful not to overload either machine.
• Fold linen in accordance with established procedures and use a folding machine and feed ironer if needed
• Stock, clean and maintain laundry carts, storage areas and laundry racks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
