Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks a Laundry Attendant for Barton Creek Resort & Spa. If you love hospitality and creating exceptional customer experiences, you'll find a great fit here.

Responsibilities

• Sorting dirty linen from laundry chute for processing.
• Picking up dirty linen from Food & Beverage Outlets/Banquets.
• Operating washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
• Stacking clean items into laundry bins/trucks for delivery to guest rooms or Food & Beverage areas.
• Processing specialty items or guest requests with smaller washers/dryers.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Following safety and sanitization regulations per OSHA and company standards.
• Assisting in operating the tunnel.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds often.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to understand and follow spoken instructions.
• Ability to travel within hotel areas to pick/deliver linen items within designated times.
• Flexibility to work days, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous tunnel or CBW experience preferred.
