Job summary

The Radical hotel is seeking a dedicated laundry team member to wash, dry, press, and fold guest linens to exacting standards. You’ll handle uniforms and staff apparel while maintaining par levels and ensuring timely delivery across shifts.

Ideal candidates bring a positive, team-first attitude, with flexibility for weekends/holidays. No prior laundry experience required; we will train the right person in a creative, community-filled hotel setting in Asheville.

Qualifications

• Willingness to stand and move bags of linen for long periods.
• Strong eye for quality and detail in linens and uniforms.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays in a 24/7 hotel environment.
• No prior laundry experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, press, and fold guest room linens, towels, and robes to standard.
• Handle restaurant, bar, event linens, and staff uniforms.
• Sort and treat stains to keep linens looking their best.
• Maintain par levels and ensure timely restocking of laundry supplies.
• Operate commercial laundry machines safely and report equipment issues.
• Keep laundry area clean, organized, and ready for the next load.
• Support housekeeping during peak times.

We're an art-filled, community-rooted hotel in the heart of the River Arts District, and our laundry team is the quiet engine behind every great stay. If you take pride in doing things right and like being part of something creative, you'll fit right in.

What you do

• Wash, dry, press, and fold guest room linens, towels, and robes to our standard
• Handle restaurant, bar, and event linens and staff uniforms
• Sort, spot-treat, and rescue stains so linens look their best
• Keep housekeeping stocked by tracking par levels and delivering clean linen on time
• Run commercial machines safely and flag equipment issues early
• Keep the laundry space clean, organized, and ready for the next load
• Support housekeeping and the wider team when the hotel is at its busiest

What you bring

• A reliable, positive, team-first attitude
• A good eye for detail and pride in quality work
• Comfort being on your feet and moving bags of linen throughout your shift
• Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays (hotels never close)
• Laundry or hotel experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
