Job summary

Daly Seven in Archdale, NC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to deliver clean, fresh linens for guest rooms and amenities. You will drive operations by ensuring a steady supply of towels, bedsheets, and linens throughout the shift.

The role requires weekend availability, a hands-on approach to fabric care, and the ability to stand long hours. Training covers safe chemical handling, use of commercial washers and dryers, and maintaining tidy laundry areas.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry, housekeeping, or commercial washing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and stack hotel linens per standards.
• Coordinate duties to ensure a continuous supply of clean linens for room attendants.
• Assist in stripping linens from guest rooms during peak hours to start washing.
• Inspect linens and discard or treat stained items to maintain quality.
• Restock linen closets and storage areas; keep chemical storage organized and secured.
• Operate washing and folding equipment safely and efficiently; report malfunctions.

We're looking for candidates with weekend availability, specifically Saturdays and Sundays. This is a part-time position.As a Laundry Attendant at Daly Seven, you are a vital pillar of our housekeeping operations, responsible for delivering fresh, clean, and perfectly folded linens for all guest rooms and amenities. You drive operational success by keeping the laundry workflow moving efficiently so that room attendants always have the supplies they need. Given the fast-paced nature of hotel operations, you demonstrate a deep commitment to our team and property by being a reliable, proactive team player who takes pride in cleanliness, quality, and guest comfort.What You’ll DoSupport Daily Operations & SupplyCollect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and stack all hotel linens, towels, and bed coverings according to company quality and sanitation standards.Coordinate laundry duties to ensure room attendants have a continuous, reliable supply of clean linens throughout the shift.Assist in stripping linens from guest rooms during peak operational hours to jumpstart the washing process.Inspect linens during processing, immediately discarding or treating stained or damaged items to maintain brand quality.Help maintain, organize, and restock linen closets and storage supply areas across the property.Drive Quality & Inventory ControlTrack daily missing or damaged linens and keep management informed of shortages for monthly inventory reporting and reordering.Maintain clean, organized laundry rooms and chemical storage areas, ensuring supply closets remain locked when not in use.Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.Turn in any lost and found items discovered in linens immediately to management.Assist with basic housekeeping or public area cleaning duties as assigned by management.Ensure Safety & ComplianceFollow all chemical handling, laundry machinery safety protocols, and health department rules.Promptly report machine malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to management.Adhere strictly to timekeeping rules, clocking out for a mandatory 30-minute lunch break between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM or whenever leaving the property.Uphold all Daly Seven policies, procedures, and strict business confidentiality on and off duty.QualificationsPrior laundry, housekeeping, or commercial washing experience preferred.Basic understanding of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and cleaning chemicals.Familiarity with brand quality assurance standards and hotel operating procedures.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly navigate stairs.ScheduleAbility to work a schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
