Job summary

Motel 6 Anchorage, proudly managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is seeking a Laundry Attendant. This role ensures proper washing, drying, folding, and organization of hotel laundry and linens while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and efficiency.

You will operate laundry equipment, follow linen care procedures, keep a safe, clean work environment, and support the housekeeping team as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain any government-required or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates.
• Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel laundry and linens to high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Operate laundry equipment following linen care procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support the housekeeping team as needed.

Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring the proper washing, drying, folding, and organization of hotel laundry and linens while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and efficiency. The Laundry Attendant operates laundry equipment, follows established linen care procedures, maintains a safe and clean work environment, and supports the housekeeping team as needed. This position plays an important role in providing guests with comfortable and well-maintained hotel experience.

• Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
