Job summary

Elevated Property Services is hiring for a hotel laundry attendant. You will manage linen and terry, sort and wash items, stock supplies, and keep the laundry space clean and organized for guest satisfaction.

Expect to follow safety protocols, meet standards, and assist with ironing and steaming of textiles. This full-time role requires reliable performance during assigned shifts and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

  • Experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry preferred.
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the washing of bed and dining linens, towels and some kitchen linens.
  • Sort linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material.
  • Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols.
  • Clean and maintain laundry room area and equipment.
  • Unload laundry from commercial dryers.
  • Stock laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener.
  • Stock storage closets with linens and terry in a clean and organized manner.
  • Inspect inventory for stains, damages, or wear & tear and record defects.
  • Iron, press, and/or steam textiles as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

HOUSEKEEPING JOB SUMMARY

As a hotel laundry attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linen and terry for the hotel are clean and well-maintained. Your primary duties will include sorting linens, towels, clothing and other laundry, washing all linen, and stocking laundry supplies. You will also be expected to adhere to hotel standards and safety protocols to provide a comfortable and pleasant experience for our guests.

JOB DUTIES
  • Handle the washing of bed and dining linens, towels and some kitchen linens.
  • Sorting linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material.
  • Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols.
  • Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment.
  • Unloading laundry from commercial dryers.
  • Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener.
  • Stocking storage closets with linens and terry in a clean and well-organized manner.
  • Inspection of inventory for stains, damages, or wear & tear and recording those defects.
  • Ironing, pressing, and/or steaming of textiles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good customer service skills when handling customer and guest requests.
  • Physical stamina when remaining stationary for extended periods and moving laundry loads.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks throughout each shift.
  • Attention to detail when stocking linens and terry.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Adheres to federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding fair housing guidelines, and employment related laws and regulations.
  • Performs duties in all aspects of hotel operations whenever needed, write, and correspond with outside business.
  • Ability to utilize the property management system technology, requires the ability to work through all reporting perform audits as needed.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities to ensure that daily operations are performed at peak efficiency.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day.
  • Occasional need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push, or pull, and reach above shoulder (cleaning up litter, open doors, pick up and move items).
  • Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 50 lbs. on occasion, frequent need to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate tools and machinery within scope of work.

BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN POLICY

Elevated Property Services may conduct background checks and drug screens for onsite property associates after the conditional offer of employment is accepted, in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Candidates will be asked to authorize these screenings and results will be reviewed by our HR representative.

JOB DETAILS

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00/Hour, DOE (40+ hour minimum per week). Some evenings and weekends may be required. Overtime may be required with approval of ownership. Additional compensation package includes medical, dental and vision benefits package with employer paying 75% of cost, 401k with employer match, PTO, cell phone reimbursement in addition to 8 paid holidays.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Prior Hotel/Hospitality/Extended Stay experience required.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
SCHEDULE
  • Tues‑Sat evenings, unless otherwise determined based on needs of the business.
  • Overtime as needed.
  • Weekends as needed.

  • Bremerton, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
