Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Laundry Worker to handle linens and personal clothing, operate laundry equipment, and maintain a clean, sanitary environment within the facility.

The role requires a positive attitude, ability to follow safety policies, and good communication with residents and staff. Training and development opportunities are available. This position is based on-site in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
