Laundry Assistant

Full Time, Day Shift, 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Position Summary:

The position is responsible for sorting dirty laundry, loading and unloading washing machines and dryers, and folding linens. Additional duties include floor care, such as stripping and waxing floors. Must be able to pull and push wet laundry weighing 50–75 pounds from the washing machine. The role requires standing for 7–8 hours per day, as well as stooping, kneeling, and bending. Good vision, hearing, and communication skills are necessary to perform job duties effectively. The ability to lift 30–40 pounds frequently is required.

Our private and spacious campus houses a 115-bed post-acute 24-hour skilled nursing health care center. We are the only skilled nursing facility in the area with a dialysis den. We serve individuals recovering from strokes, joint replacements, cardiac procedures, or serious illnesses.
