Job summary

Touchpoints at Chestnut in Windsor, CT is hiring a full-time Laundry Assistant to collect, sort, and launder linen, load and unload washers and dryers, and fold clean items for distribution. Duties include counting linen processed daily and delivering to assigned areas, maintaining facility cleanliness, and supporting a healthcare setting.

English proficiency and ability to follow instructions are required; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to clean clothing and facility linen.
• Must operate computerized washers and dryers and understand how these machines work.
• Must speak, read and write English clearly and understandably.
• Some previous experience in Healthcare industry preferred.
