About the role

As a Laundry Assistant, you will ensure that all laundry requirements are undertaken to a high standard and keep the laundry room a safe environment for all staff and residents. Part of this will be ensuring that all Health & Safety at Work legislation is followed, including all requirements under industry Codes of Practice and Environmental Health guidelines.

Reports to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Housekeeper

Skills and attributes

• Knowledge of cleaning and laundering procedures.
• An ability to work unsupervised and on your own initiative.
• Good attention to detail.
