Job summary

Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Danville is hiring a dedicated Laundry Assistant to support our long-term care team. This role handles linen, clothing, and patient garments with care and efficiency.

Responsibilities include washing, drying, folding, and delivering items, while maintaining a clean, sanitary laundry area and identifying patient clothing for proper tracking. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry experience preferred; healthcare experience also preferred.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, understand, and follow directions in English.
• Team player who works well with others in a healthcare setting.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.

Job qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Ability to perform as a team player and get along with all other employees.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Requires frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Must be able to operate dryers and washers and fold and hang linen and clothing.
