Job summary

A local care facility in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time housekeeper. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms, as well as supporting the laundry department. The candidate must work flexible hours, including every other weekend and holiday. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to maintain cleanliness and ensure the comfort of residents. Training is provided to suitable candidates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
• Clean restrooms and wash windows.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Attend all facility and department in-service training.
• Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.
• Fulfill all other assigned duties by the department head and/or facility Administrator.
• Report all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, and supply issues to the appropriate manager or department.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents and interact with them in a professional yet warm, respectful caring environment.
• With cross-training in our laundry department

Job Description

Full-time housekeeping hours are from 6:30 am-3:00 pm. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Demonstrate ability to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility consistent with facility policy and procedure.
• Attend all facility and department in-service training.
• Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.
