Maine Veterans’ Homes in Maine is seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to support weekends, holidays, vacations, and staff time-off coverage. You will help ensure residents have clean, comfortable linens and clothing each day.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Proficient in understanding and communicating in English.
• Basic computer skills.

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and linens.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Assist with labeling and tracking resident clothing as needed.

Requirements
