Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation, a Certus Healthcare community in East Cleveland, Ohio, is hiring a Laundry Attendant. You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linens to high standards and keep the laundry area clean and organized.

This entry level role offers two 8-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, and Part Time, PRN and Weekend Warrior options. Starting pay is $14.25 per hour, plus benefits such as 401K match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols while handling laundry.

Summary

As a Laundry Attendant at Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. This position is essential to our commitment to quality service and care, ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered to the highest standards.

This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry level employment in Healthcare or Looking to be part of a Healthcare environment in a non-clinical position. In this position you will join a dedicated team who is focused on providing quality care in a family focused environment.

This position has a starting pay rate of $14.25 an hour

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Two (2) 8-hour shifts a week and every other weekend. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

Schedule for Week 1: Sunday and Wednesday, Week 2: Tuesday and Saturday
