Job Description

As a valued member of our housekeeping and maintenance team, you will provide a clean and safe environment for residents and staff, following policies, procedures, and work routines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Processing, sorting, and folding linens in the Long-Term Care facility.
• Adhering to policies on infection prevention, quality assurance, fire, and safety.
• Participating in staff meetings, attending in-service education, and completing mandatory training.
• Collaborating with other departments on tasks like transferring residents, moving supplies, and maintaining equipment.

What You Bring

• Ability to perform heavy lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders; exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors.
• Commitment to working safely following established safety practices.
• Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
