Covenant Woods is seeking a part-time Laundry/Housekeeping Assistant to oversee laundry and housekeeping for residents, ensuring a clean, safe environment and staff efficiency. The role emphasizes adherence to Covenant Woods standards and resident-focused service.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in laundry duties in a professional setting.
• Experience in a Continuing Care and Retirement Community (CCRC) or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

• Collect personal laundry from designated resident rooms in the facility and carry out laundry duties in Health & Wellness.
• Maintains inventory of linen shelves and receive weekly linen deliveries.
• Must stack shelves, stock linen carts and deliver to Health & Wellness clean linen rooms.
• Launders and maintains linen in spa and therapy.
• Keeps laundry rooms, storerooms and all clean linen rooms clean & sanitary.
• Assists Health & Wellness housekeepers with daily housekeeping duties.
• Has the responsibility for keeping all areas including common spaces clean & sanitary.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations and resident satisfaction.

PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY

Pay Range: $16.00–$20.00 per hour, based on years of experience

Shift Available: Fridays 2:30pm - 8:30pm and Saturdays 7:00am - 3:30pm

Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintains oversight of the housekeeping and laundry departments. Assures optimal use of available staff. Thoroughly monitors the physical plant to assure a clean and safe environment.
