Laundry Aide - Part Time (Bay Shores Senior Care & Rehab)

Join our Award-Winning team at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center!

Our Laundry Aides perform a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all of our guests and residents. They ensure cleanliness in resident areas, public spaces, and support offices, with satisfaction as a top priority. This position involves collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, folding clean linen, counting processed linen daily, delivering laundry to assigned units, and cleaning and sanitizing work areas, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

Compensation includes:

• $14.00 per hour starting wage
• PLUS $0.85 per hour Hero Pay
• Overtime Pay

Scheduling options:

• Part Time
• Afternoon Shift: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Daily responsibilities include:

• Ensuring cleanliness and proper trash disposal across the facility
• Maintaining surfaces and floors
• Handling laundry tasks: collecting, washing, drying, folding, and redistributing linens
• Participating in outdoor housekeeping projects as assigned
• Providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive environment for guests, families, and visitors
• Sorting soiled linen, operating washers and dryers, and delivering clean linen to designated units

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and visitors
• Strong customer service orientation
• Team player committed to supporting colleagues and completing tasks
