The Morton Bakar Center, part of the Telecare Family, is a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) providing psychosocial rehabilitation and skills-building support for older adults with a primary diagnosis of severe mental illness.

Shifts Available:

On Call; Shift hours and days vary as needed

The starting wage range is $ - $. Pay ranges are adjusted based on geographic location and relevant experience.

Position Summary

The Laundry Aide ensures the facility is stocked with sufficient linens to support patient care by the Nursing Department.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate Telecare's mission, values, and beliefs in daily interactions
• Transport clean linen from laundry to linen closets
• Arrange and clean linens on shelves and carts
• Wash linen and personal clothing of residents
• Hang, discard, and organize personal clothing appropriately
• Label residents' clothing as requested

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; willingness to work with individuals with mental illness
• Must be at least [age] years old
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications within [number] days of employment and maintained current
• Successful completion of background checks, physical exam, TB test, and verification of credentials

Preferred:

• Experience as a laundry aide or housekeeper in healthcare or hospitality settings
