Job summary

The Grand at Bethany Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to join our Environmental Services team. You will be responsible for providing residents with clean linens and clothes and ensuring laundry duties are performed with care and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles used in washing of linens and clothing.
• Knowledge of how to handle contaminated linen and clothing.
• Knowledge of how and what to use to disinfect.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility of laundry service.
• Keep equipment and laundry area clean.
• Take wash water temperature and record it on daily basis.
• Clean linen dried, folded and stored in linen closets in designated areas.
• Return all cleaned personal clothing items back to the proper resident’s clothing closet or dresser.
