Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Wooster, Ohio, is seeking a Laundry/Linen Aide to help maintain clean garments and linens for residents across our community. You will keep a steady pace, prevent infection through proper handling, sorting, hanging, folding and distributing laundry to residents’ rooms, and assist with housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean garments and linens.
• Prevent the spread of infection through proper handling, storage, washing and transporting of all garments and linens.
• Hang, fold and stack garments and linens.
• Sort and distribute clothes to residents’ rooms.
• Clean and maintain the laundry room in an orderly fashion.
• Assist with housekeeping duties.
