Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Wooster, OH is seeking aLaundry/Linen Aide to support the facility's laundry functions for our senior living communities. You will maintain a steady workflow to keep garments and linens clean and organized, while preventing the spread of infection through proper handling, washing, and transporting of items.

You will hang, fold, and stock garments, and assist with housekeeping tasks in a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean garments and linens.
• Prevent the spread of infection through proper handling, storage, washing and transporting of all garments and linens.
• Hang, fold and stack garments and linens.
• Sort and distribute clothes to residents’ rooms.
• Clean and maintain the laundry room in an orderly fashion.
• Assist with housekeeping duties.
