Job summary

Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody, MA is seeking a Laundry Assistant for a full-time shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday. The role starts at $16.00–$17.00 per hour based on experience and provides a stable daytime schedule.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean laundry, collect soiled linens, and keep a clean, safe laundry area while following infection-control and confidentiality procedures. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean laundry according to facility procedures.
• Collect soiled linens, towels, and resident clothing from designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area and operate equipment properly.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality procedures when handling laundry.
