Zusammenfassung

Birchaven Retirement Village is seeking a dedicated housekeeping and laundry assistant to provide clean linens and personal clothing for residents, in accordance with policy and resident rights, as directed by the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor. You will work under the supervision of the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, supporting resident comfort and daily care routines.

The role emphasizes compassionate service in a supportive team environment, with training provided and opportunities

Qualifikationen

• Education and/or experience: must possess at least a 10th grade education or up to one month related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• REASONING ABILITY: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions; handle problems with a few concrete variables.
