Responsibilities of the Laundry Aide:

1. Sort laundry, linen, garments, etc.
2. Perform tasks such as folding and delivering residents’ laundry on a daily basis.
3. Load and empty washers and dryers.
4. Assist nursing staff with cleaning out residents’ closets.
5. Other duties assigned as necessary.

Requirements of the Laundry Aide:

1. Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility.
