Solaris HealthCare Lake Zephyr in Zephyrhills, FL is hiring a Laundry Aide for part-time, hourly pay. The role includes maintaining laundry operations, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting the facility’s daily tasks.

Responsibilities cover laundry processing, equipment operation, inventory awareness, and teamwork to ensure timely completion of duties. Prior experience is beneficial but not required for consideration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is welcome but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads of laundry.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and storage area.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe work environment.
• Sort and process soiled linens and clothing according to established procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean and sanitize linens and clothing.
• Inspect clean linens and report stains, damage, or issues to the supervisor.
• Fold, stack, and distribute clean linens to designated areas within the facility.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need replenishment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.

Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and storage area
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe work environment

Laundry Aide requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy loads of laundry.
• Willingness to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
