Job summary

Solaris HealthCare College Park in Orlando, FL is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to maintain cleanliness in the laundry area and ensure timely processing of linens. You will operate washing and drying equipment, inspect items for damage, and support stock management within a busy healthcare facility.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to follow safety protocols. Prior experience is a plus, but not required; strong attention to detail and reliability are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and storage area.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe work environment.
• Sort and process soiled linens and clothing according to established procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean and sanitize linens and clothing.
• Inspect clean linens and clothing for stains, tears, or other damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Fold, stack, and distribute clean linens and clothing to designated areas within the facility.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks and support overall operations within the facility.

Laundry Aide Responsibilities
