Job summary

River Falls Post Acute in Marietta, SC is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding daily. This role contributes to a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort.
• Collect resident laundry daily and as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Label resident clothing items as needed.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner.
• Inspect linens and garments for damage and remove worn or stained items from service.
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages as needed.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned.
