Job summary

Yona Solutions in Minnesota is looking for a friendly Laundry Aide to keep residents’ linens clean and well organized. You will operate washers/dryers, transport laundry, and maintain inventories while delivering warm, compassionate service.

No prior experience required, but reliability and the ability to follow instructions are valued. You will work with residents and staff, maintain a safe area, and support a clean, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Candidate must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas, keeping them neat, orderly, and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts customer service first, providing high-quality service in a caring atmosphere.
