Baybrooke Village Care and Rehab Center in McKinney, TX is seeking a Laundry Aide (PRN) to join our team. You will collect, wash, sort, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing in accordance with infection control standards, ensuring ample clean supplies for resident comfort and care.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment, handling chemicals safely, and maintaining a clean, organized laundry area while preserving resident privacy and dignity at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry operations experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens, towels, and resident clothing for processing.
• Sort laundry by fabric type and soil level following infection control.
• Operate washers, dryers, irons, steamers, and folding equipment safely.
• Measure detergents and disinfectants per manufacturer instructions.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and pre-treat accordingly.
• Return clean items to residents or designated locations.
• Maintain supply levels and keep laundry areas clean and organized.
• Follow PPE and infection prevention procedures at all times.
