Job summary

Regency Pacific is seeking a Laundry Aide to assist in laundering resident clothing and facility linens. This full-time role runs Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, supporting a clean, compassionate home-like environment for residents.

You will fold linens, inspect equipment, maintain orderly closets, and communicate with residents and families while upholding infection control standards. Prior customer service and an interest in senior care are required.

• Compassion and interest in working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Fold and distribute clean linens.
• Clean dryer lint screens
• Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear
• Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly
• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

You will:

• Fold and distribute clean linens.
• Clean dryer lint screens
• Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear
• Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly
• Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

You Currently:

• Have excellent customer service skills.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population
• Can work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
