We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Aide to join our team and help us make a difference every day.

Position Summary:
The Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring all linens, garments, and personal items are cleaned, folded, and distributed in a timely manner. This role is essential to maintaining the comfort and satisfaction of our residents and the smooth operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, and launder linens, clothing, and other items in accordance with established protocols.

Operate and maintain washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

Inspect items for wear and damage, reporting issues to the supervisor.

Fold and distribute clean laundry to designated areas or residents’ rooms.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area.

Follow infection control procedures to prevent cross-contamination.

Assist with inventory management, ensuring an adequate supply of linens and laundry products.

Respond promptly to special requests from residents, families, or staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus but not required.

Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry loads of up to 50 pounds.
