Job summary

Fir Lane Care in Shelton, WA is seeking a Laundry Aide to support our facility by caring for linens and laundry needs. The role pays $19.25–$21.25 per hour and is based at 2430 N. 13th St., Shelton, WA 98584.

You will operate laundry equipment, maintain a clean area, and coordinate with staff to ensure timely availability of clean linens. Qualifications include English fluency and prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and speak English.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Operate the laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and other staff members about laundry needs, and any issues with equipment or laundry quality.
• Ensure there are adequate supplies of clean linens and laundry products.
