Job summary

Cedargate Health Care Center in Poplar Bluff, MO seeks a compassionate Laundry Aide for the evening shift to help keep our residents comfortable and cared for. You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments to facility standards, supporting both residents and staff.

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with facility standards
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and label machines
• Inspect items for stains or damage and treat as appropriate
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Assist residents with laundry-related requests or questions

We are currently seeking a Laundry Aide for our evening shift.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with facility standards
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and label machines
• Inspect items for stains or damage and treat as appropriate
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Assist residents with laundry-related requests or questions

Requirements:

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of different fabrics and proper care instructions
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
• Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
