Job summary

Solaris HealthCare College Park in Orlando is hiring a Laundry Aide to maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, operate machines, and ensure clean linens. You will follow infection control protocols and assist with inventory and distribution of linens across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and storage area.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe work environment.
• Sort and process soiled linens and clothing according to established procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean and sanitize linens and clothing.
• Inspect clean linens and clothing for stains, tears, or other damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Fold, stack, and distribute clean linens and clothing to designated areas within the facility.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks and support overall operations within the facility.

Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy loads of laundry.
• Willingness to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
