Job summary

AristaCare is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to operate and maintain laundry equipment in a healthcare setting. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens while following infection prevention procedures and PPE protocols.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and cross-contamination prevention. Candidates with prior laundry experience in healthcare are preferred, but entry-level applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or institutional cleaning preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Prior healthcare/SNF/LTC laundry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, linen handling, PPE, sanitation, cross-contamination prevention, and proper use of laundry chemicals preferred.
• Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to safely operate laundry equipment and perform the physical duties required for the position.
