Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking a Laundry Services Associate to operate and maintain laundry processes across our healthcare facilities. You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, distribute items, and ensure clean, organized laundry spaces following infection prevention and PPE protocols.

Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to perform physically demanding tasks. Prior healthcare laundry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry services or related healthcare cleaning preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred; entry-level applicants welcome.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, linen handling, PPE, and sanitation.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and perform the physical duties.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment safely and properly.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and other laundry items.
• Follow proper linen-handling and infection-prevention procedures.
• Use PPE and laundry chemicals safely and appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the laundry area.
• Follow procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Keep laundry supplies and work areas organized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or institutional cleaning preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Prior healthcare/SNF/LTC laundry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, linen handling, PPE, sanitation, cross-contamination prevention, and proper use of laundry chemicals preferred.
• Must be reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
• Must be able to safely operate laundry equipment and perform the physical duties required for the position.
