Job summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide for a part-time role in Monterey. You will maintain clean linens and resident clothing, ensuring timely delivery to rooms and storage areas while following infection control and safety policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior healthcare laundry/housekeeping experience is a plus. The position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work well both independently and with a team.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron facility linens and resident clothing.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated storage areas promptly.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers safely according to instructions.
• Sort and treat stained items with appropriate cleaning agents.
• Maintain organized, stocked, and sanitary laundry rooms and carts.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and hazardous communication policies.
